about mack graham

Building relationships that strengthen organizations and communities.

I believe fundraising is about far more than securing financial support. At its best, it builds trust, creates opportunity, and equips organizations to make a lasting difference in the communities they serve.

As a nonprofit executive and Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), I help mission-driven organizations develop the relationships, revenue strategies, and organizational systems needed to achieve sustainable growth. My work spans major gifts, institutional giving, corporate partnerships, board engagement, and long-term development planning.

Today, I serve as Vice President of Development at Heartshare St. Vincent's Family Services, where I lead fundraising strategy and philanthropic engagement supporting thousands of children, young adults, and families across New York City.

My Approach

I don't believe successful fundraising comes from chasing every grant opportunity or asking for donations more often.

The strongest organizations build meaningful relationships, communicate a compelling vision, and create systems that inspire long-term investment.

Throughout my career, I've focused on helping organizations move beyond transactional fundraising toward strategic philanthropy… aligning mission, leadership, and community partnerships to create lasting impact.

Whether working with foundations, major donors, corporations, or board members, my goal is always the same:

Build trust first. Build resources second. Build lasting impact always.

Experience

Over the course of my career, I've served organizations working across youth development, human services, education, arts and culture, and community development.

My leadership experience includes roles with:

  • Heartshare St. Vincent's Family Services

  • Brooklyn Children's Museum

  • CCS Fundraising

  • Newark Symphony Hall

  • Good Call

  • Sandy Ground Historical Society

  • Neighborhood Hope Dealerz

These experiences have allowed me to lead fundraising strategy, strengthen development infrastructure, cultivate philanthropic partnerships, and support organizations at different stages of growth.
